Jane Clinton cites findings from our student aspirations polling.

Half of young people who want to go to university worry about the financial burden, according to a survey for the Sutton Trust.

In its annual polling of young people based on their higher education aspirations, it is found that while three in four young people believe that they will go to university, rising costs was noted as a worry for 47 per cent of them. Of those worried about debt, 45 per cent said their biggest worry was tuition fees, with one in five saying repaying their student loan for up to 30 years was their biggest concern.
