His piece notes that Scottish schoolchildren worry about the costs of higher education almost as much as young people in England, despite free tuition.

Sir Peter Lampl, founder and chairman of the Sutton Trust, provided this quote to the Times Scotland: “The survey shows that Scottish schoolchildren worry about the costs of higher education nearly as much as others in Britain. Tackling these fears will be important to Nicola Sturgeon’s goal of increasing the numbers of poorer students entering higher education.”
