A new interactive tool, created through a collaboration with data visualisation studio Tekja, will showcase the impact of Sutton Trust programmes on young people over the past two decades.

Through a scrollable narrative and an interactive map, the Impact Hub will give users an overview of the Trust’s work and allow them to explore 10 years of data from our programmes.

For the first time, the Impact Hub will provide granular detail on the social mobility criteria of our students by region and constituency. Users will also be able to see university progression data for our studentsbuilding up a picture of who are students are and where they go on to.

The tool also highlights findings from the external evaluations and control group studies the Trust has commissioned over the past decade. For example, one study found that 93% of Sutton Trust students from the lowest socio-economic groups move to the highest after graduating.

The Impact Hub brings these findings together for the first time to provide greater transparency about the Trust’s impact and its targeting. The aim is that this will allow our partners and supporters to better understand the work of the Trust and engage with the impact that its programmes have across the UK.
