Last May, we were approached by our alumni to discuss issues of race and inclusion. Since then we have set up an inclusion working group including alums, university and corporate partners to explore how we can add and tailor support for students of colour on our programmes and will trial some activities and resources on our programmes this summer.

We have also announced a new bursary programme to provide support to students once at university and 60% of these will be reserved for students of colour.

This is alongside other work being completed internally across all departments at the Trust.

We will be sharing more information once our activities launch over the summer but wanted to take the opportunity to everyone who has contributed to this work so far, particularly to our alums.
