Our Chairman, Sir Peter Lampl, is quoted by Tammy Hughes in the Daily Mail on the over-representation of the privately educated among performers at Glastonbury.

 

Sir Peter told the Mail it was ‘remarkable’ so many of this year’s musicians were privately educated. He provided the following quote to the Mail: “Our own research has shown that the alumni of private schools continue to dominate the top of all areas of British life. But it is remarkable that so many Glastonbury musicians have been educated at an elite school. By drawing our musicians from such a small social pool, we are inevitably missing out on a lot of talent.”
