I’m from Manchester and I took part in the Sutton Trust Summer School in St Andrews for Biology & Psychology in 2021. I’m currently in my second year studying Human Sciences at the University of Oxford.

As a care-experienced individual, I’ve dealt with the challenges that come with navigating higher education, particularly the lack of representation and support. The Sutton Trust has been brilliant in helping me during both the application process and my journey through university. I joined the Alumni Leadership Board to ensure that care-experienced and estranged students are represented and to advocate for better support in higher education.
